Block A Market Construction Has Been Started

Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat officially inaugurated Fatmawati Block A Market, South Jakarta. Block A Market will be integrated with hotel and mass rapid transit (MRT) station.

"This market is very strategic due to integration with hotel and MRT station. Thus I request merchants not to sell their kiosks to other person," he said, Wednesday (6/21).

He wants merchants to cultivate the clean habit thus market building is remain clean for long time.

"I also asked merchants to change their mindset to always maintain cleanliness. Thus there will be no dirty, stink, and muddy market," he hoped.

Meanwhile, PD. Pasar Jaya President Director, Arif Nasrudin added there will be 21 floors and semi basement with total kiosks 2,140 units.

"We will track and monitor the merchants continuously to keep their kiosks from being sold," he affirmed.

Hotel will be placed on 14-21 floor above 9,200 square meters land with 316 rooms. Parking lot will be made four floors that can accommodate 171 cars.

"Hotel and market constructions time will take two years," he closed.
